As you probably know the pandemic level has been brought to level 5 ( on a scale of 6 ) last week.

 What is the swine flu ?

The swine flu is a respiratory illness caused by an contagious virus. It affects people of all ages.

 How is swine flu transmitted?

It is transmitted through nose and mouth secretion ( e;g; coughing, sneezing, talking) or though personal contact ( handshaking, kissing). It is estimated that the outbreak in the case the pandemic is real could spread throughout the period of three to six months or sooner.

 What are the symptoms?

-headache

-appetite loss

-nasal congestion

-general discomfort

 General Recommendations:

-Isolate those with a respiratory infection

-avoid greeting People with handshakes or kisses

-avoid sharing food, glasses or cutlery

-provide adequate ventilation in closed establishments

-keep objects clean

-cover up and avoid harsh climate changes

-eat fruits and vegetables rich in vitamine A and C

-wash hands frequently with soap and water
